There are several opportunities for fellowship in small groups at First Baptist Church. There are groups for adults and children and teens.

Small Groups for Adults

  • The Forum: Sundays following the church service, 11:00 am in fellowship hall, led by Pastor Bob Smith.
  • Men's Breakfast and Bible Study: The Men's breakfast meet on the second Saturday of the month. If you have any questions please contact Pastor Bob at the church.
  • Ladies Study: The Ladies Study group is currently hosting studies on Monday nights in the church parlor at 6:00 pm and will focus on the "The Gospel of John" DVD series by Pator Roger Spradlin For more information contact the church or check back for the date of start up.
  • Monday Evening Men's Group:The men's Group will meet on May 8th and 22nd from 6:30-8 pm. The DVD study is on the "Drive Through History - The Gospel" by Dave Stotts. For more information contact Pastor Bob at the church.
  • Time of Prayer: Meet every wednesday evening in the church parlor at 7:00-8:15pm. The focus is on praise music, worship, and prayer. All are welcome.

Small Groups for Children and Teens

  • Middle School Worship: Held Sundays from September to June for Grades 6-8 at 11:00 am
  • Junior Worship: Sundays during the summer months for grades K-5 - Join other children for songs, Bible stories, crafts and fun!
  • Youth Group: Starts Sunday September 18th. The youth group (6th-12th grade) will be meeting every sunday at 6:00 pm at the church. Join with other teens for fun, fellowship, and learning about the power of God in their lives! For more information contact the church.
  • High School Extra Help: Every Thursday from 4-6:30pm at the church. Extra help with homework, test prep, and writing papers is offered for high school students. If you or someone you know would like to help out email Pastor Bob at or message him on facebook.
